Dr. Parsons brings a wide variety of experience to Primary Health, including his work as the chairman of several boards and committees. He has also completed extensive humanitarian work. Notably, he worked to establish an ongoing gynecology program in Sosua, Dominican Republic, where he trained local doctors, upgraded facilities, and provided gynecological surgeries. Additionally, his humanitarian efforts include 18 trips to build over 40 houses in Tijuana, Mexico; and providing gynecological support services in N’zao, Guinea. He has also been an adjunct professor at the College of Idaho for three years for courses in Pathophysiology, Physiology, and Poverty and Healthcare.

Dr. Parsons comes to Primary Health from OGA, where he worked to grow the practice for over 30 years, taking on roles as managing partner and Medical Director. Parsons stepped back from leadership at OGA to focus his full efforts on patient care, and continues to keep comprehensive, high-quality care at the top of his priorities.

In his free time, Dr. Parsons enjoys spending quality time with his spouse of 39 years and his three adult children.

“I feel that having a calling in serving patients is what gives me purpose and meaning in life,” Dr. Parsons shares, “I look forward to continuing to provide excellent care that helps make the world better one patient, one family at a time.”

Dr. Parsons will begin seeing patients age 14 and up at Primary Health in Garden City and Eagle this April. New and established patients are welcome to book with him by calling the clinic they’d like to visit.
