Provider Opportunities

Primary Health Medical Group continues to grow. Currently we are recruiting for both our Appointment Based Family Practice and our Urgent Care practice. You can find more information about Primary Health, benefits and practicing in the Treasure Valley.

Appointment Based Family Practice
Location: Caldwell, Idaho

Why PHMG Loves BSU

We love Boise State University Football. Most people in Boise do (except a few rogue Idaho State Vandals fans). Sure the games - and tailgating - are fun. And it's easy to catch the contagious atmosphere that swirls about the valley when a game is approaching. But we love BSU for another reason - what they do for Boise and the surrounding area in terms of National Spotlight.

Boise Named Among Top-10 Vegetarian Friendly Cities

Here's another distinction for the Treasure Valley - and specifically for all you animal lovers out there.

Outside Magazine Ranks Boise #1

In its August issue, Outside Magazine names Boise the overall winner (and top West city) in its 2010 Best Towns survey. The annual list was compiled using the following criteria: quality of sporting life, cultural vibrancy, resiliency of economy and stability of houseing market.

The highlights: Outside calls Boise a "multisport mecca" and singles out the North End, the park system, the Boise Greenbelt, Bogus Basin and dozens of high-tech startup companies.

Boise Ranked #16 Among Most Innovative Cities

Forbes Magazine recently published its first ever "Most Innovative Cities" list - and Boise was listed as #16 in the nation. For their ranking, they started with the 100 largest metropolitan statistical areas in the U.S. and used data from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to determine number of patents per capita.

Boise Ranked #17 for Best Cities for Families 2010

In a recent Parenting Magazine poll, Boise was ranked #17 for Best Cities for Families. The over 4,000 acres of parks and the 25-mile Greenbelt riverfront pathway were just two of the reasons that the Idaho Capital ranked among the top 20 cities. Add in the Boise zoo and a hospital just for kids (St. Luke's Children's Hospital), graduation and crime rates, and you've got a great place for families. Just one more reason to take a look at Primary Health Medical Group as your next place to practice medicine - located in the heart of the Treausre Valley.

Recruiting New Providers

Currently we have openings for healthcare providers in our Family Practice and Urgent Care.

Appointment Based Family Practice
Location: Caldwell, Idaho. Our ideal candidate would be board certified/eligible. Hospital call is 1 time every 12 nights and consists mainly of phone calls with very rare instance of having to go into the hospital. A nurse triage service screens patient calls. Hospitalist coverage is provided. Appointment based family physicians work 4 to 4.5 days per week in the clinic.

A New Family Practice Physician

Primary Health is pleased to welcome Derek Hamblin, MD to our Family Practice. Dr. Hamblin will be seeing patients at our Crossroads Clinic location in Meridian, Idaho.

Insights From the Blogosphere

If you write a blog, it's pretty safe to assume you read a few blogs. And there are blogs today for EVERYTHING and EVERY INTEREST. One blog that I have been following is called the Chief Marketing Officer, A Blog for Healthcare Marketing Executives (see, I told you a blog for everything). A recent post mentioned that a brand is what you do; not just what you say you do.
