Flu activity is widespread in 49 states and from coast to coast, hospitals and emergency rooms are struggling to keep up with patient demand. In California, tents have been set up to triage thousands of patients in recent weeks as hospitals overflow. In Alabama, a state of emergency has been declared as half of all county hospitals are at 90% capacity, full or over capacity.
Treasure Valley residents donated an astounding 1,110 bicycles at Primary Health Urgent Care clinics on Saturday, September 30th during the group’s first-ever bike drive benefitting Boise Bicycle Project (BBP).
The bike drive kicked off at 10:0am, and by 11:00 am, it was clear extra transportation and storage would be needed right away. Volunteers reported a steady stream of bikes at all urgent care locations spanning from Caldwell to East Boise, with many individuals donating multiple bikes.
Primary Health Medical Group will host what they hope to be Boise Bicycle Project’s largest bike drive to date. On Saturday, September 30th, the public is invited to drop off their unneeded bikes at any of the 15 Primary Health Urgent Care locations in Boise, Meridian, Garden City, Eagle, Nampa and Caldwell.
ALL bicycles will be accepted – any type, any size, any condition.
The public is invited to celebrate the groundbreaking of Primary Health Medical Group’s newest Meridian clinic on Wednesday, September 13th at 9:30 am. The event will take place at the southeast corner of W. Franklin Rd. and S. Ten Mile Rd.
Primary Health Medical Group is pleased to welcome family physician Paul Phail, D.O. to our Orchard clinic. He is now accepting new patients of all ages.
Dr. Phail is a graduate of Touro University Nevada, and he completed his residency at Community Memorial Health System in California. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Phail earned a triple business degree from Arizona State University and spent seven years working for Intel as a business analyst.
In addition to providing financial support to purchase roughly 1,000 helmets, Primary Health has created reflective safety stickers for each helmet. The stickers were designed by Primary Health employees, and each bike recipient will receive the reflective sticker of their choice.
Primary Health Medical Group has announced plans to open its 18th location and third Nampa clinic, which will be located at 1375 N. Happy Valley Rd, at the corner of Happy Valley Rd. and Garrity Blvd. near the new WinCo.
