CODING COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
The Coding Compliance Specialist will be performing auditing for coding compliance; maintaining coding standards to ensure a unified coding compliance system, adhering to the principles of CPT& ICD-9 guidelines. The Coding Compliance Specialist will also audit provider documentation for coding and policy compliance; be available for CPT and ICD-9 coding questions; provide updated information to clinic, billing staff, and providers through training; and assist with maintenance of PHMG specific coding compliance plan. The position requires 3 years of CPT/ICD-9 coding experience. Two years of progressive multi-specialty auditing experience is preferred. Must have extensive knowledge of billing and insurance rules. The position will also require the ability to train/teach providers and staff in an effective manner.
Will perform follow-up on all outstanding claims and assist in customer support telephone rotation. Applicants must possess medical billing, medical terminology, and ICD-9 and CPT coding knowledge. Above average customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills, computer experience, 10-key and 45 wpm typing are a must. Working knowledge of insurance rules and regulations and a demonstrated ability to prioritize and work independently are also required.
Selected candidate will be responsible for leading the daily direction of the medical clinic, its physicians and staff in the delivery of high quality care and service. This position also administers the clinic budget per budget requirements and profit plan expectations. Exceptional customer service, leadership and communication skills and a minimum of two years management experience in a medical setting are required. The ideal candidate will also have experience in health administration, business management, or equivalent experience and knowledge.
The Training Coordinator reports to the Director of Human Resources and will oversee all aspects of front office staff orientation and training. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining training materials and presentations, coordinating in clinic training and conducting new hire follow ups. The Training Coordinator will serve as a member of the Front Office Team, attend FOC meetings, serve on the eCW upgrade team to assist with upgrade planning and will coordinate with other key trainers on training content. Candidates should have excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills. Working knowledge of PowerPoint is required.
